Welcome to the Selinsgrove AYSO Website!

Selinsgrove AYSO is a youth soccer league open to everyone in the Selinsgrove Area School District. AYSO is a national youth soccer organization based on 5 basic philosophies:

  Everyone Plays
  Balanced Teams
  Open Registration
  Positive Coaching
  Sportsmanship

Selinsgrove AYSO is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. Please remember that all coaches, referees, and administrators are volunteers. We need your help too! We appreciate any help, from refereeing to assisting at registration. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Brian Derr at 743-7187 or via email.

If you are interested in signing up a player for Selinsgrove AYSO click here. We do have a scholarship program, supported by the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way, for those who need financial assistance.

AYSO is a 100% volunteer organization and is always looking for volunteers to get involved...

Want to try coaching but afraid to take the plunge? Worried you know nothing about soccer? Not a problem. You will not find a more rewarding experience than working with a group of kids in the U6 and U8 divisions. The emphasis is purely on activities that generate and sustain interest in the sport. The kids at this age absolutely love to have fun and as their coach you are free to be as creative with your practices as you like. You will find yourself having as much fun as the kids!

Looking for more of a challenge? Try coaching at the U10, U12 or U14 levels. These kids want to enhance their skills and learn the nuances of the game and will welcome the knowledge and experience you can share with them.

You can get involved in other ways as well. Referees are always in demand and after passing a basic certification exam you can earn a small fee for volunteering your time. Being a referee requires only a few hours per week and is a great way for students and adults to get involved.

Remember, a volunteer organization is only as successful as the efforts of those involved. We are fortunate here in Selinsgrove to have an outstanding community of parents, kids, coaches, administrators and referees. But there is always room for you to share your time and talents.
